SPECIAL GUEST - JONATHAN ANSELL

We are very happy to announce that former G4 frontman Jonathan Ansell will be Hayley Westenra’s special guest at her intimate concert at Union Chapel on Friday 18th October. This show will reunite the two internationally acclaimed vocalists who performed together on their Valentine’s Tour in February 2009.

The Union Chapel show will take place just four days after Jonathan releases his long-awaited third studio album, Two Hearts. After fronting G4 who came second in the first ever series of X Factor in 2004, he has gone on to establish his own solo career, with sales of over 2 million albums, a Classical Brit nomination and sell-out shows around the world.

Jonathan describes Two Hearts as an eclectic mix of popular opera (Caruso), classic favourites (Unchained Melody), rock anthems (I Wanna Know What Love Is), musical theatre (Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar) and his first self-penned track Two Hearts Entwined.

“I can’t wait to duet with Hayley again and also perform some brand new album tracks live for the very first time,” he says.
